I'm sure these are the same nutcases that came to Santa Fe about a year ago. They picketed outside the church I go to now (I had just moved here at that time). Our pastor went out and talked to them, they really are a bunch of loony toons.

Most Santa Feans turned their backs on the anti-gay picketers from Westboro Baptist Church as they antagonized churchgoers with their stinging message on Sunday.
But not the Rev. Jimmy Sandoval of Grace Community Church. He did just the opposite.
Sandoval walked toward the small group of mostly female protesters with a broad smile on his face and his arms wide open. The pastor did so not because he agreed with their inflammatory rhetoric, but because he took pity on them.
"I feel sorry for them because they're in greater danger than the people they're condemning. God doesn't give anyone the authority to condemn anyone to hell," he explained following a showdown of Bible verses with Shirley Phelps-Roper, the daughter of the Westboro Church's leader Fred Phelps Sr., and other Westboro members.
"You condemn people to hell and you shut the door to heaven for them, but you yourselves won't get in," Sandoval said before returning inside the doors of his own parish.

I'm not a religious person but but generally don't have any quarrels with those who are...just those that use religion as an excuse for hate or to dictate what I should or shouldn't believe. These folks take the cake. Someone should put them in a tomb. Bet their souls won't get out.

Wow, i didn't want to read thru the site but do they explain why soldiers are "fags"? It's bad enough that God hates fags, now soldier are fags, so God hates soldiers too? I find this too absurd to even be affended. I agree with the lawsuit angle mentioned above.

These are the same fuckheads who are showing up to funerals for soldiers killed in Iraq and shouting that God has killed the soldiers as a punishment for Americas sins. There have been organized groups of Bikers who show up and make a human wall to separated this dickless wonders from the mourning realtives.

These morons are absolutely wrong! I do not hate stool pushers and carpet munchers. As a matter of fact Jesus was a fag and so were some of the apostles and Mary Magdalen was the obligatory fag hag of the group.

God only hates people that profess to know what God thinks or wants , and French Canadians, sand niggers, most of da South, parts of Africa, anyone with bad hygiene , hairless dogs......
